This training dummy for Wing Chun will help you practice and learn techniques, standing in place of a human opponent with it's arms, body and leg. The principle lies in combat simulation. The basis of Kung Fu is to strike and defend at the same time, which requires speed. Training dummy was and still is used at schools and by various masters. He was probably made famous by the Cantonese martial artist and grandmaster of the Wing Chun style - Yip Man and his most famous student Bruce Lee.
